Kirsty began her Monty Roberts accreditation courses after many years of teaching and training horses on a part time and mostly voluntary basis. She received her certificate in 2011. She is a trained teacher, which led her into the Professional Development arena. Kirsty also worked in the sports sector promoting the importance of physical activity to children’s growth and development. Currently residing in New Zealand; Kirsty connected with Sally King and Leigh Willis, her mentors. She works with a wide variety of clients and horses and thoroughly enjoys teaching. Kirsty reaches out to and promotes the concepts of non-violence to children in particular. By opening children’s eyes to “another way” she hopes to influence the next generation of horse men and women.
