Description
The Introductory Exams can only be taken after completion of the Monty Roberts Introductory Course of Horsemanship and sufficient home / field study.
Following on your two weeks at our facilities (or after completion of all 4 modules in the modular format), you will return home to continue practicing what you have learned.
By sending us videos you can continue to receive our feedback on your work. It is also during this period that you study theory on horse performance, breeding, feeding and nutrition.
When our Certified Instructors determine that you are ready, you will return for practical and written exams, at successful completion of which, you will graduate from the Introductory Course and be eligible to take the Advanced Course.
Booking Your Exams
Please do not book your Introductory Exams before you have emailed us (admin@join-up.org) to confirm you are ready and eligible to take the exams.
Once you have been accepted to take your exams, you can book your place in the upcoming exams using our online booking portal, or making a manual booking through the office. Our Monty Roberts Certified Instructors will contact you to confirm receiving the order and also answer any questions you may have regarding participation. We will also provide additional enrollment paperwork which will need to be filled out and submitted prior to attending.
While accommodations are not provided onsite, we do have connections with many local area hotels in Solvang, and Buellton. Please review our Transportation and Accommodation worksheet found here.
