Mars (Mars Bellicose (KY): Justin Phillip – Tender and True (IRE), by Galileo (IRE) (Equibase).
Mars trained on the track but was never raced due to his large size. As a 2 year old Mars developed a core lesion in his front right tendon, which fully healed after being turned out for a year. A November 19, 2020 vet check has him 100% healthy and sound.
Mars has a strong, athletic build with excellent conformation. He is good natured and willing. Monty suggests he will do well in a number of disciplines and is a great candidate to bring a junior hunter / jumper to top level.
